Sophie Howard (born February 4, 1983)[2] is a former glamour model from Southport, England, UK.

Howard appeared regularly on Page Three and in mens magazines like Maxim, Nuts, Zoo Weekly and Loaded.[1][4] She has often been photographed with other big-bust models like Lucy Pinder and Michelle Marsh. In August 2005 Howard was voted number 1 in Loaded magazine's "Most Beautiful Breasts" poll, and in the same year she was voted 73rd in the UK FHM 100 Sexiest Women poll. In the 2006 poll she rose to 68th place.[5] Howard has featured on the cover of Loaded more than any other model, appearing five times—beating Jordan (aka Katie Price) by one cover.

Biography

Sophie Howard was born and raised in Southport. She attended a Catholic school, and was in the Salvation Army until she was 16. At 17, she became a stripper.[6] Sophie studied English Language and Creative Writing at Edge Hill University,[1][7] later swapping to Marketing Information Systems. During this time she signed to the IMM modelling agency, and appeared in Loaded in their "Almost Famous" and "Sauna Babes" sections. She was officially discovered by Loaded when they invited her to appear in their popular Sauna Girls feature, after Howard sent them amateur photographs of herself wearing a PVC catsuit. A growing fan base meant that by December 2005 Howard had risen to the cover of the magazine.

Howard's popularity took off after she became associated with Jeany Savage, a glamour photographer with the Daily Star, where she worked for around a year. She subsequently signed a contract with Loaded, resulting in a relationship advice column and a regular feature called "Sophie's Choice", followed by a contract with Nuts magazine. In 2009, Sophie returned to Edge Hill University to study for a degree in mental health nursing.[1][7]

She took a break from modelling in December 2011 in order to focus solely on her studies. In 2012, she reportely had retired from topless modeling [8] only to return to modeling a year later, in March 2013, to shoot a photo set for PinupFiles.

Personal life

As of 2013, she has been unofficialy retired from modelling. Sophie briefly dated former UK cricketter Simon Jones in 2005.

Whilst studying at Sixth form, Howard was diagnosed with Lupus erythematosus,[1] a condition affecting the immune system.[9]

Trivia

  • Sophie is a pescetarian.
  • She has six tattoos, including three large outlined stars down her back. In many published pictures of her these have been digitally removed.
